APPLICATIONS:
For minimum to medium security applications requiring a mortise
deadlatch. Suitable for installation in administrative areas of an institution,
or in residence/dayroom areas where supervision limits opportunities for abuse.
OPERATION:
Active knob(s) may be locked and unlocked from a remote location, by the internal
solenoid. Latchbolt is retracted by either the key cylinder or the active knob
- unless active knob is locked out. Available in two basic models each with a
variety of locking functions:

Knobs unlock automatically in case of power failure.

TESTING:
125 Deadlatches are listed under UL10B, Fire Tests of Door Assemblies - for Class
A, three-hour single-swing doors or in the active leaf of a pair of doors. Maxi-Mogul
Key Cylinders meet UL437 requirements, and have been tested to 1,000,000 operations

Notes:
1. Active
knob(s) may be electrically locked and unlocked by internal solenoid from a remote
location
2. Electrical
interlocking of doors requires special wiring and/or adaptations for control consoles,
which are not included in the above prices
3. When
a builders hardware key cylinder is used in a FA mortise lock, it requires a special
adaptor to position the cylinder in the lock case for proper manual operation.
There is no charge for the adaptor and preparation, nor is a credit allowed for
deducting the Mogul Key cylinder.
4. Customer supplied key
cylinders must a) be 1-5/32" diameter, with full bar-stock body; b) be 1
1/4" long, from under head, including cam; c) have a removable, standard,
Yale-type cam. Cylinders and keys must be sent to our factory. |
